Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday approved contracts between its children and youth services agency and several providers.

The contracts run retroactively from July 1 through June 30, 2015.They are with:• NHS Human Services, Harrisburg, for VECOR at a per diem of $154.50, shelter care at a per diem of $233.59, and SMART at a per diem of $270.13;• Families United Network, Muncy, for specialized level four medical foster care at a per diem of $26.74; outcome-focused foster care respite at a per diem of $45.47, and outcome-focused foster care mother/child at a per diem of $107.07;• Ed's U Store It, Pottsville, for annual storage at a per-unit rate of $970.31;• Therapeutic Center at Fox Chase (also known as "The Bridge"), Philadelphia, for community residential treatment at a per diem of $244.09.Commissioners also approved updates to a contract with Signature Family Services of West Reading.Commissioners approved a contract for the county drug and alcohol program with Child & Family Support Services, with a cap of $70,325, to offer student assistance programming in all school districts for fiscal year 2014-2015.They also approved a contract addendum for Treatment Trends, for a rate change for short, moderate and long-term residential rehabilitation from $138 a day to $143 a day.
