The Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center has a variety of activities planned for October including a Halloween party on Oct. 31 with students from St. Jerome's kindergarten class.Other activities for the month include: Oct. 8, baking; Oct. 13, black cat craft; Oct. 16, pumpkin painting; Oct. 22, Frankenstein craft; Oct. 23, making pumpkin ice cream; Oct. 27, cooking homemade soup; Oct. 31, visit from the podiatrist.In addition to weekly sing-alongs, exercise sessions, a variety of therapies and social games, the center provides breakfast, lunch and a snack, as well as the opportunity for hairstyling and manicure services on Thursdays.
