A motorcyclist is dead as the result of a two-vehicle crash along Route 145 in North Whitehall township, Lehigh County. According to the Lehigh County Coroner's office Jorge Lugo, Jr., 45, of Teaneck, New Jersey was killed in the crash, which occurred just after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection with Second Street.

All four lanes of Route 145 were closed at the scene. The crash involved the motorcycle and a minivan reportedly occupied by an elderly couple.

State police are investigating the incident.
