Rush Township police are preparing to file charges in connection with several recent traffic stops.

John Jasinsky, of Tamaqua, was stopped on Lincoln Drive at 12:42 a.m. on Sept. 6. He will be charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.At 2:33 a.m. on Sept. 6, officers conducted a traffic stop on Lafayette Avenue. Scott Seddon, 35, of Gilberton, will be charged with traffic violations and driving under the influence of alcohol. Blood test results from that morning indicate a blood-alcohol content of .15 percent, almost twice the legal limit of .08.Sarah Trotman, 21, of Tamaqua, is facing charges of DUI, possession of marijuana and traffic violations. She was stopped on Claremont Avenue at 2:04 a.m. on Sept. 12.
