Five people are dead after a four-car crash this afternoon on Route 115 at Rocky Mountain North Drive.

Another woman was flown from the scene, and a man was transported by ambulance, according to reports on the scene.

The crash happened at 2:15 p.m. The impact was so loud that it shook Christine Graver's house, located a block away on Rocky Mountain North. "I didn't know what it was," Graver said.

She ran to the scene and saw a red car on its side, a blue SUV and two other vehicles.

Emergency crews arrived quickly on the scene.

Route 115 remains closed while state police at Fern Ridge conduct the crash reconstruction.
