All Pocono Mountain School District schools will be closed on Wednesday, due to safety concerns for students at bus stops with an armed and dangerous gunman still on the loose in the area.

Administration made this decision tonight to give parents time to make arrangements for their children, according to the district's website.

The gunman has been identified as Eric Matthew Frein. He is suspected to be the man who ambushed two police officers Friday night at Blooming Grove state police barracks, killing Cpl. Byron Dickson and wounding trooper Alex Douglass.
