More than 500 people attended the dedication of a new building of the Goodwill Fire Company in Germansville. State Reps. William Klingaman and Joseph Zellers were among the speakers. Lehigh County Commissioners talked about the fire company's history, noting that it was officially organized on Sept. 18, 1915.

A highlight of the dedication festivities included competition involving 13 fire companies.
