(570) 325-4435Class 1965Members of the Jim Thorpe Area High School Class of 1965 are invited to attend a luncheon on Thursday at noon at Platz's Restaurant, Lehighton.Rally DayThe Sunday school of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will resume on Sunday beginning at 9:15 a.m.This day is recognized as Holy Cross Day in the church. The cross will be the theme of the day and children attending are asked to bring a cross of their own, a handmade one or one drawn to "show and tell."The World Hunger Drive will also begin on Sunday, and the children will receive their World Hunger banks. Three children will be receiving Bibles, Ylanna Nieves, Tyeson Sargent and Sloey Sterling.During the morning worship service at 10:30, the Sunday School teaching staff will be installed.
