The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources plans a hike in Tuscarora State Park this month.

Join naturalist Robin Tracey at 10 a.m. Sept. 17 for the Crow, Lake View and Spirit trails hike. The moderately difficult hike, which will take place only if the weather is sunny, is 8 miles long. Meet in the Crow parking lot off Tuscarora Mountain Road, and bring a bag lunch and water.This is a dog-friendly hike, but dogs must be leashed and get along with other dogs and people.For more information, call Tracey between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 570-467-2506.
