A brand-new look took center stage Friday when the award-winning Tamaqua Area High School Raider Marching Band entered the Tamaqua Area Sports Stadium decked out in new uniforms, courtesy of Tamaqua Area Band Boosters and band supporters. Blue-and-white uniforms for the 170-member band feature a front sash complemented by a pleated, rear white cape monogrammed with an Old English letter T,

a tribute to the original Tamaqua High Boys Band. Friday's unveiling also kicked off the band's 2014-15 marching season.
