Mr. and Mrs. Lamont LeVan of Lehighton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 5, 1964, at Jacob's Reform Church in Weissport by the Rev. George Bickel.

Mrs. LeVan is the former Mary Lou Hinger, daughter of the late Alvin and Anna Hinger of Lehighton. Her husband is the son of the late Wilbur and Beulah LeVan of Lehighton.They have two children: Lamont LeVan Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Lehighton; and Christine Lorchak, and her husband, David, of Lehighton.They have one granddaughter, Kirsten LeVan.
