A Pine Grove man was uninjured after he fell asleep and crashed his vehicle on Route 443 in Schuylkill County, state police at Schuylkill Haven reported.

Brian K. Cooper Sr., 49, was westbound near Hetzels Church Road in Washington Township at 4:45 a.m., when his 1996 Toyota Corolla went across the eastbound lane and struck a mailbox, concrete wall and fence.Police said Cooper would be cited for the crash.
