Simple assaultCriminal charges were filed against Edwina Grow, 37, of 641 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, for simple assault, false imprisonment, harassment, unsworn falsification to authorities and false reports. The incident occurred at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at the same address.SpeedingCitations for speeding were issued to Michael Smith, 41, of 249 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, which occurred at 9:11 p.m. Aug. 16 on Route 248 east; Robert Small, 55, of 3436 Teel Road, Danielsville, which occurred at 5:21 p.m. Aug. 18 on Route 248 east; Robert Ehret III, 49, of 495 Hahns Dairy Road, Palmerton, for speeding and driving without a valid license at 8:25 p.m. Aug. 17 on Route 248 east.DUICriminal charges were filed against Wendy Heiney, 50, of 3792 Dogwood Road, Walnutport, for DUI, careless driving, periods for required lighted lamps and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. The incident occurred at 9:02 p.m. June 17 in the 500 block of Delaware Ave.
