A Hamburg man accused of stealing from a Giant Supermarket in Pottsville is in Schuylkill County Prison, according to state police at Schuylkill Haven.

Robert Joseph Ryan Jr. was reportedly spotted Tuesday pushing a cart with unpaid grocery items on a sidewalk near the store in North Manheim Township between 9 and 9:30 p.m.Police said Ryan has two prior retail theft convictions and will face felony charges for last week's incident.Ryan is in prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
