A Schuylkill County man was arrested and charged under domestic violence laws.

State police at Frackville said Michael Joseph Kostura, 44, of Valley Street in Pottsville, went to the home of a 50-year-old woman, located along Forest Lane, in Cass Township, on Tuesday at 3 a.m. Troopers said the two had recently terminated their relationship. Kostura was told he was no longer welcome by the woman and told to leave.An hour later Kostura returned and entered the home. When the woman attempted to force him out of the home, he pulled her hair and grabbed her chin, causing her front teeth to become loose. He then fled the residence.Kostura was later found and placed under arrest. He was charged with simple assault, theft, trespass and harassment. He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
