A son, David Joseph Smith, was born at 11:28 p.m. on June 28, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown, to Ashley Porambo and Jesse Smith of Summit Hill.

He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 20 inches long.Maternal grandparents are Darrin Ahner of Lehighton and Kathy and Joseph Matula of Lansford.Paternal grandparents are Karen Smith of Summit Hill and the late David Smith of Loveland, Ohio.
