Avery Day, daughter of Christopher and Kimberly Day of Jim Thorpe, has been named to the dean's list for the 2014 spring semester at Penn State University.

Avery is a 2013 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and is majoring in elementary education.Her GPA for the spring semester was 3.8.
