A 66-year-old flag man was killed Thursday afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic on the Morea Road just west of Route 54. A red vehicle sits in the middle of the road with troopers of the Frackville barracks leading the investigation.

Hometown Fire Police are maintaining traffic control at the scene.
