The Coaldale tax collector's office will be closed from July 29 through Aug. 4 to prepare school tax forms for mailing.

Normal hours will resume Aug. 5. Taxpayers who qualify for exemption from school taxes are asked to returned signed, dated applications in person, along with proof of eligibility. The exemption application must be notarized.
