A West Penn township man was seriously injured Friday afternoon when his riding lawn mower rolled on top of him.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. at 84 Lumber Lane.

The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance then flown to a Lehigh Valley area trauma center.

The West Penn Township Police are investigating the incident.
