Amanda Sauchinitz, daughter of Bettyanne Sauchinitz of Bowmanstown, and Stephen and Tina Sauchinitz of Lehighton, and Anthony Pacheaco, son of Stephen and Leah Pacheaco of Huntingdon, were united in marriage May 3, 2014, at the Lehighton Orioles in Lehighton. The Rev. Dan Mansberger officiated the double ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Angela Benner of Wilmington, North Carolina, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids included De-Anna Mehlig of Weatherly, Teddianne Sherman of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Sara Moyer of Lehighton, Amanda Baker of Horsham, Kimberly Sauchinitz of Palmerton and Heidi Pacheaco of Huntingdon. Kelsey Mehlig was a junior bridesmaid, while Kymber Mehlig was a flower girl.The bridegroom chose Brian Weikert of Huntingdon to serve as best man.Ushers were Jared Pacheaco of Huntingdon, Jonathan Pacheaco of Huntingdon, Justin Reed of Forest, Mississippi, Stephen Sauchinitz of Palmerton, Kenneth Mehlig of Weatherly and Dakota Mehlig of Weatherly. Dylan Sauchinitz of Palmerton was the ring bearer.The couple greeted family friendsThe new Mrs. Pacheaco is the granddaughter of Patricia Ahner of Bowmanstown and Betty Sauchinitz of Lehighton.She is a 2003 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor's degree in special and elementary education. She is employed as an instructional assistant by the Chester County Intermediate Unit.Mr. Pacheaco is a 2003 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School and a 2004 graduate of Wyotech. He is currently attending Universal Technical Institute for automotive technology. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2010 to 2014.Pre-nuptial parties for the couple included an engagement party in March of 2013 and a bridal shower in March of this year.The newlyweds currently reside in West Chester.
