Air Force Airman Daniel R. Berger gradu-ated from Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Berger completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principals and skills.Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree through the community college of the U.S. Air Force.Berger is currently enrolled in the aircraft hydraulics apprentice program.Berger is the son of Gerryand Roxanne Berger and brother of Dalton Berger.His grandparents are Richardand Donna Bloom and Robertand FerneBerger.Airman Berger is following in his grandfather's footsteps.Robert Berger graduated from Lackland Air Force Base in 1951 and became an aircraft mechanic.Berger is a 2013 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
