A large amount of cash was reported taken in a Carbon County burglary.

State police at Lehighton said they responded to the home of Johanna Kepler on Bayberry Road in Penn Forest Township, for a burglary report.Troopers said someone crawled through the victims' unlocked master bathroom window to gain entry. Once inside they removed $4,000 in cash from under a mattress.The entry occurred sometime between 2 and 3 p.m. on June 4.Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
