A Carbon County driver was involved in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 6:39 p.m. on Friday along Tilghman St., near Blue Barn Road, in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

Township police said David Trinkle of Lehighton was driving a Chrysler minivan westbound when Jongwoo Kim, of Allentown, driving a Hyundia sedan, made an abrupt turn in front of him and a collision occurred.Both drivers were injured and taken to a hospital, police said. Both vehicles had to be towed.
