Marian and Tamaqua were both eliminated in District 11 softball action on Friday, while the Northwestern Lehigh baseball team also lost in a district quarterfinal.

The Fillies lost to Minersville by a 15-0 score in four innings in a Class A semifinal. Tamaqua also lost a Class 2A quarterfinal to North Schuylkill, 5-0.

In a Class 3A baseball quarterfinal, Northwestern Lehigh lost to Pottsville, 2-0.

Friday night's 3A baseball semifinal between Tamaqua and Bethlehem Catholic was postponed and reschedule for 1 o'clock on Saturday.

Northwestern Lehigh will visit Palmerton in a rescheduled 3A softball semifinal on Saturday at 11 a.m.
