State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of a pistol from a home in Monroe County.

The incident happened between 6 p.m. April 29 and 6 p.m. May 13.The victim is Michael Maletta, 47, of Stroudsburg.Police said someone stole the gun from his residence at 128 Van Ams Way in Jackson Township.
