Tamaqua police have cited a 15-year-old Tamaqua girl following an incident at the Family Dollar Store on May 11.

According to police the teen entered the Railroad Street store around 8 p.m., proceeded to take several lights and placed them inside her shirt. This was witnessed by an employee, who stopped the girl.Her parents were notified and a citation for retail theft was issued.
