Kira Michalik and Kevin Steber, both of Summit Hill, exchanged vows on Oct. 26, 2013, at Capriotti's in McAdoo. Summit Hill Mayor Paul R. McArdle officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, Robert Michalik of Summit Hill, the bride is also the daughter of Karen and Eugene Eckhart of Lehighton. She chose Kristen Berk of Kutztown to serve as matron of honor.Bridesmaids included Sherry Hoffman of Lehighton and Grayce Berk and Emilee Berk, both of Kutztown. Kacy Lou Steber of Summit Hill was the flower girl.The bridegroom is the son of Jane and Manuel Lanzos of Summit Hill. John C. Poko of Summit Hill performed the duties of best man.Ushers were William Berk of Kutztown, Larry Black of Summit Hill and Ronnie Yuricheck, also of Summit Hill.A reception at Capriotti's followed the ceremony. The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya in Mexico.Pre-nuptial parties for the couple included a bridal shower held at the Hill Top Community Center on Aug. 17, 2013.The new Mrs. Steber is a 1997 graduate of Panther Valley High School and a 1999 graduate of Churchman Business School. She is employed by the borough of Summit Hill as a secretary/treasurer.Mr. Steber is a sales engineer in the pumper/tanker group at KME Fire Apparatus.The newlyweds currently reside in Summit Hill.
