The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced that the ramp from Mahoning Valley Toll Plaza, exit 74, to State Route 209 northbound will be closed at 9 a.m. today.

The reason for the closure is to place concrete for temporary shoring for bridge construction.

A message board has been activated to advise motorists of the closure and direct them to "keep left for Rt. 209 NB."

Additionally, a flagger will be stationed at the closure to assist.

The ramp is expected to be re-opened to traffic by 3 p.m.
