Tamaqua Police have cited Cody Counterman, 18, of 124 Race St., Tamaqua, for allowing his dogs to run loose.

The incident was reported to police at 8:35 p.m. on April 16. The dogs, a black and white mixed breed and a pug, were running loose in the area of Race and Bowe streets.Counterman was cited under a borough ordinance requiring all dogs to be leashed when not on their own property.
