In a written report to school directors, Lehighton school architects said that in the district's legal quest to condemn the fairgrounds, it should be made precisely clear that the easement area "absolutely must be taken from the fairgrounds."

The district's failure to secure the easement area "would abort the project as now contemplated and require major redesign," according to Wallace& Watson Associates.
