State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a hit-and-run incident that happened at 10:48 p.m. April 24 in the parking lot of the Deer Lake Pub, Deer Lake.

Police said a blue-colored Dodge or Chrysler pickup truck struck a guide wire in the southern parking lot of the business, ripping it from the utility pole and causing two poles to shift in the ground and accompanying cables to sag.
