Rush Township police have released details of a two-vehicle crash from Tuesday, April 15.

At 6:45 a.m. Arba Phillips, 52, of Shenandoah, was stopped on Mahanoy Avenue in a 2013 Hyundai waiting to turn on to Miller St. Tammy Harleman, 52, of Ashland, was operating a Jeep Cherokee, also traveling east on Mahanoy Avenue. Harleman was unable to stop, rear ending the Hyundai.Harleman was transported to St. Luke's Miners Hospital in Coaldale. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
