A Mahanoy City woman was injured Sunday night in a one-vehicle crash in Rush Township. Amy Peel, 34, was driving west on Fairview Street at 8:30 p.m., when she lost control of her 2002 Chevrolet van. The van left the roadway and struck a utility pole at theintersection of Fairview Street and Bernhard Road. Peel was airlifted to an Allentown area trauma center for treatment. Her van had to be towed from the scene.
