Many people were surprised this morning when they woke up to find the lawns and roads covered with snow and ice. Amidon Street in Summit Hill has a coating of mostly ice. In Tamaqua, snow covered the streets. Up to 10 inches of snow fell in counties north of us, according to reports. The snow and ice caused schools to have two-hour delays this morning.
