A Monroe County man is facing a charge of harassment following an incident at the Exxon service station located at the intersection of Route 115 and Gilbert Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Paul Willard Smith III, of Effort, allegedly grabbed Robert Riche III, of Gouldsboro, by the shirt and attempted to pull him over a counter in the station. The incident occurred about 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, March 23.Smith fled the station before the arrival of troopers.
