A Carbon County man is facing a charge of simple assault following an incident that occurred about 10 p.m. Saturday, March 22.

State police at Lehighton said Eric Eidem, 39, and a 37-year-old female, were involved in a verbal argument at 266 Eidem Road in East Penn Township.Troopers said the argument turned physical with Eidem allegedly grabbing the female by the face.
