Nesquehoning police reported on the following citations issued by officers.

Officer Timothy Wuttke issued the following citations. On Feb. 21, driving a vehicle at a safe speed, on Mermon Avenue, in a school zone; March 1, same citation and location; March 9, speeding, 41 miles-per-hour in a 25 zone at Oak and Catawissa sts.; March 9, Thomas Heller, 222 W. Earley Ave., Coaldale, driving under suspension, at Oak and Catawissa; March 9, three more speeding - 47 and a 25 zone, Oak and Catawissa, 54 on a 40 zone, SR54 at Tippets Road, and 59 in a 40, same location.Officer Steven Homanko issued the following citations: March 5, traffic control device, ran a red light, at Catawissa St. and Mermon Ave.; March 8, William Shiffert, 28 Bull Run St., Coaldale, driving under suspension, at SR209 and SR93; March 10, expired inspection sticker, Route 209 near Redner's Market; March 15, speeding, 75 in a 55 zone on SR93.Officer Dane O'Brien issued a citation on March 11 to Philip Pecora Jr., 152 Coal St., Nesquehoning, for driving under suspension along Route 209.Chief Sean Smith issued the following citations: March 6, Karol Beno, 1033 Butler Pike, Blue Bell, Montgomery County, driving under suspension at state routes 209 and 93; March 6, operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker, SR209 and Mermon Ave.; and March 7, operating a vehicle without registration, at Route 209 and Hazard St.Smith and state police from the Hazleton barracks conducted a motor carrier enforcement inspections at Route 54 and Tonolli Road. Seven truck inspections were conducted with the following violations: one triaxle overweight; one triaxle placed out of service; and one triaxle with unsecured load.Smith also filed a citation for borough ordinance vehicle on borough street with expired plate and expired inspection sticker on Mermon Avenue; also, citation filed due to non-payment of parking ticket.Officer Brian White filed five citations for borough ordinance snow ban tickets due to non-payment of parking tickets.
