State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two crashes.

A two-vehicle crash occurred at 4:27 p.m. on Monday, March 10, along Route 115, just north of Green Mount Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.Troopers said Dennis Berberick, 70, of Effort, driving a 1995 Dodge Caravan, and Latarious B. Cooper, 35, of Whitehall, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado truck, were both southbound. Troopers said Berberick's vehicle crashed into the rear of Cooper's truck, as he was stopped for traffic.Berberick and his 15-year-old male passenger from Effort, Cooper and his passenger, Yahsha A. Breedlove, 40, of Hellertown, were all not injured.Troopers cited Berberick for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.Troopers investigated a one-vehicle crash that occurred along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County, on Saturday, March 8, at 12:41 a.m.Troopers said Emily Otero-Malave, 21, of Paterson, N.J., was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla in the left lane when the vehicle went onto the berm and struck the guide rail.Otero-Malave and three passengers were all not injured. Troopers were assisted at the scene by volunteers from the Lake Harmony Fire Company and ambulance corps. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Otero-Malave in the incident.
