Jim Thorpe police has announced that there will be "no parking" on Broadway and West Broadway on Sunday, March 9, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. due to the annual St. Patrick's Day parade.

In past years there was parking on West Broadway, however, due to the large amount of snow still laying on Broadway and West Broadway the borough feels this poses a safety issue for people attending the parade.The no parking ban now includes the entire parade route.
