A Montgomery County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence and other counts following an incident that occurred about 3:34 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, along Stoney Mountain Road, just west of Old Stage Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.
State police at Fern Ridge said troopers responded to the area to a report of an unknown individual knocking on doors. Upon arriving troopers located Todd T. Vitelli, 25, of Willow Grove, in his vehicle.A further investigation revealed Vitelli was intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DUI. Troopers said he also facing charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.In a related incident Troopers said Mary Elizabeth Harbison, 23, also of Willow Grove, was found in the same area knocking of doors attempting to find her vacation home, which is located on a different street.She was transported to the Lehighton hospital to be evaluated for her state of intoxication. She was charged with public drunkenness, troopers added.
