State police report arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on several arrests made by troopers.

Troopers said on Saturday, March 1, at 2:05 p.m. in the area of 619 Bottom Road in Gilbert, Polk Township, Monroe County, Frederic Charles Holle, 68, of Gilbert, allegedly shoved Kenneth McConnell, 18, of Kunkletown. Troopers said Roger Alen McConnell, 43, of Kunkletown, then allegedly struck Holle in the facial area.As a result Roger McConnell and Holle were both cited for harassment.Troopers said Christian Holsoplle, 20, of Stroudsburg, was cited for underage drinking about 1 a.m. on Saturday after he admitted consuming beer at a party held along Pleasant View Drive in Polk Township.Troopers said on Sunday, March 2, about 4 p.m. they investigated an incident at 236 Lobach Lane in Eldred Township, Monroe County. As a result they found Ryan Patrick Dowling, 18, of that residence, in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with that offense.On Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Ashley Gardo, 21, of Polk Township, turned herself in at the barracks. She has an active warrant for her arrest issued out of Monroe County for failure to appear.She was placed in the county prison in Snydersville on the warrant.
