Lazarus, a red-tail hawk and resident of the Carbon CountyEnvironmental Education Center, is watching from its perch outside the center in Summit Hill. The bird was hit by a car a few years ago and cannot fly due to the injuries it sustained. He has since become the greeter at CCEEC and enjoys watching over the visitors, even during the frigid winter months.
