A Tamaqua woman has been cited in connection with a bad check case.

Brandy Lynn Knauss, 31, of 410 Hazle St., reportedly wrote a check, in the amount of $400.18, to the Tamaqua Water Authority on Dec. 20, 2013. The check was returned marked as "insufficient funds." A certified letter was sent and returned as "unclaimed."A citation was filed on Feb. 17.
