The National Weather Service is still calling for freezing rain to start this morning.
Temperatures will rise as the morning progresses and start decreasing the geographical extent of the freezing rain during the latter half of the morning. According to the Weather Channel, precipitation is supposed to start after 10 a.m.
The forecast:
Today: Rain or freezing rain before 3pm, then a chance of rain. High near 42. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible.
Tonight: Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 27. West wind 9 to 14 mph becoming light northwest after midnight.
Thursday: A chance of rain after 4pm. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 41. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday Night: Rain or drizzle likely, mainly after 11pm. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 33. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Friday: Showers, mainly before 4pm. Patchy fog before 10am. High near 51. Southeast wind 10 to 14 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
