Rail and motor traffic was running normally again today as track and highway workers, aided by thawing weather, cleared travel arteries of snow and ice following last week's storm.

All main roads in Schuylkill and Carbon counties were reported clear with the exception of the Mansion House Hill road at Mauch Chunk.Covered at spots by 35 to 40 feet of snow last Friday, the hill was opened to one lane of traffic yesterday.
