Hollie Huntington, daughter of Karen and Bill Nothstein of Andreas, and Matt MacMillen, son of Joan and Wilkins MacMillen of Voorheesville, N.Y. were united in marriage on Nov. 16, 2013 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie.
Father Jim St. George officiated the double ring ceremony. Julianna MacMillen, niece of the bridegroom was the vocalist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Megan (Smith) Godard of Bristol, Conn. to serve as matron of honor.Bridesmaids included Jamie (Steigerwalt) Lobdell of Northampton; Maureen Hanlon, New York, N.Y.; Cassidy Koren, Northampton, cousin of the bride.John MacMillen of Chestertown, N.Y., served as best man for his brother. Ushers included Lewis McCauley of Duanesburg, N.Y.; Matt Nothstein of Andreas, brother of the bride; and James Porter of Chestertown, N.Y., nephew of the bridegroom.A reception followed the ceremony at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. The couple honeymooned in New Zealand.The new Mrs. MacMillen is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School. She holds a B.S. in accounting and an M.S. in taxation from Fordham University.She is employed as a CPA and tax manager at Rocket Software, Waltham, Mass.Mr. MacMillen is a graduate of Berlin Central High School, Berlin, N.Y. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Siena College.He is employed as a senior vice president and chief financial officer at SunLife U.S. in Wellesley, Mass.Prenuptial parties included a bridal shower at Basile's Restaurant in Tamaqua, and a rehearsal dinner, held at the Buckeye Tavern in Macungie.The newlyweds currently reside in Sudbury, Mass.
