Heavy ice has accumulated on the side of Mount Pisgah along Route 209 in Jim Thorpe, as indication of the long, harsh wintry weather we've been having. Every winter ice forms along the side of the mountain, but a prolonged cold spell seems to have the ice thicker than usual.
