Charges have been bound over to Carbon County court against a Lansford police officer who police say formed a sexual relationship with a teenage boy, gave him beer, and showed him pornography Robert Shubeck, 40, of Nesquehoning, was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Friday before District Judge William Kissner of Palmerton. Shubeck waived his right to the hearing, and will appear Feb. 27 for a pretrial status conference in the Carbon County Court of Common Pleas. Shubeck faces three charges of furnishing alcohol to minors, as well as charges of criminal attempt of official oppression, stalking, corruption of minors, and harassment.
