They were about as welcome as a fox in a henhouse, but Louis Beltrami and Nolan Perin had every intention of staying at last night's SOLE II news conference at the Weatherly Borough Building.
"This is a public building," said Perin, operations officer of Tri County Sanitation, "and I'm a taxpayer."SOLE II is the environmental citizens group that has been waging a war of opposition for almost a year against Tri County's proposed 3,400-acre landfill atop Buck Mountain.
